Hi together,

I tried the trial version of pointcab to generate a layout for an BIM application.

We are using a Z+F Imager 5006i and therefore I had to export my point clouds to a ptx file. ;-(

Unfortunately pointcab is loosing the orientation of each scan while calculating the layout. Does anybody have the same issue?

Thanks,

Bill

Dear Bill,

you are right, we had a problem to import ptx files containing more than one scan and ptx files > 3GB. This has been fixed. The actual version you can download is able to import ptx files correctly.
Actually we are doing progress importing Riegl and Leica data formats, maybe Z+F will be follow.

Best, Richard
