2 students from LSE successfully finish their degree

We are pleased that two students have successfully taken the chance to write their bachelor thesis in our company.

Ole Krause, dual student at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences (Faculty of Geoinformatics and Surveying), and Alice Rösler, student at HTW Dresden (University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Spatial Information), finished their degrees in the last two weeks.

Both students decided upon the hot topic of Building Information Modeling (BIM). Within this scope, the problems of different modeling approaches and of IFC data interface were scientifically investigated.

We are also grateful for the good cooperation with both research institutions. Special thanks are due to Prof. Dr.-Ing. Runne and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Clemen.

We are very satisfied with the results of both theses. Both students received very good grades for their work. Eric Bergholz, CEO of Laserscanning Europe: "I am very impressed how both students have dealt intensively with the very IT-intensive topic of Building Information Modeling; the results are an additional knowledge gain for our company. I am very pleased about these good performances and I wish both graduates a successful professional future".

Two new graduates will support our offices in the future

Ole Krause, who has been a member of our company for some time as a dual student, will be active at our location in West Germany in future and will continue to build up this office.

Laserscanning Europe CEO Eric Bergholz, who also acted as second examiner of both theses, was very pleased to congratulate both students personally on passing the exam and completing their studies.

Our goal: Support young graduates

The threat of a shortage of skilled workers is reported everywhere. Therefore, it is important that companies are actively involved in apprenticeships and studies. We face up to this task as a training company and as a partner company of many universities.

Students, who are looking for a job for an internship semester or a bachelor or master thesis, can simply contact us. We regularly deal with tasks from the application of scanner hardware and software as well as workflows. For people interested in programming, topics from our sister company PointCab software could be very interesting.

For 2018, there will again be the possibility to apply for a dual course of study. Are you interested? Simply send your application to info@laserscanning-europe.com.
