With the new DPI-8X, our partner DotProduct launches the successor of the established DPI-8 handheld scanner. The new version is significantly more compact, more sturdy than the predecessor due to better processing and thus a more durable solution for all customers.
You don't need a separate handle anymore for using the DPI-8X. Now, the tablet slides into a sturdy shell; it is secured by a lock and additionally by a magnet. The price of DPI-8X remains unchanged 5449.00 €.
Moreover, all users of the DPI-8 handheld scanner can upgrade to the new DPI-8X. The upgrade costs 200 $ plus shipping - for all DPI-8 that were bought in 2017.
For devices, that were bought before 2017, upgrade costs are 500 $ plus shipping. Furthermore, customers need to have a current Phi.3D support and maintenance contract.
