Beside renting our laser scanners, you can rent the corresponding registration software FARO Scene. Many of our regular customers benefit from this service for some time past.
Optionally in combination with renting a scanner, you can additionally rent FARO Scene 5.5 at the flat-rate price of EUR 120 and version 6.2.4 at the price of EUR 180. Software leasing beyond the rental period of the scanner are charged separately as required and agreed.
But renting registration software may not only be useful when you rent a laser scanner. For instance, if you have a scanning job abroad and just a computer-bound FARO Scene license, renting software can be very advantageous since you can already perform registration on site. Our dongle licenses allow you to be flexible at the maximum.
You can currently rent two version of FARO Scene registration software. On the one hand FARO Scene 5.5 and on the other hand FARO Scene 6.2.4. You need version 6 for example if you want to use FARO Focus3D X130 with HDR function. Moreover, the new FARO Focus S 150 and FARO Focus M 70 need the latest version if you want to use HDR function. Thus, if you decide to rent "only" FARO Scene registration software, you get version 5.5 already from EUR 220 up per week and version 6.2.4 from EUR 280 up per week.
