From April 11-14, 2016 Laserscanning Europe and PointCab exhibitors at this year's Spar 3D Expo & Conference, the leading trade fair for laser scanning, LiDAR and 3D documentation in North America. "We are very satisfied with the start of the exhibition in Houston", said Eric Bergholz, CEO of Laserscanning Europe GmbH.
There was great interest especially in our range of laser scanning accessories. The focus was on the "Traveler" reference sphere. Because of large distances, many customers travel by plane; for this purpose, the small pack size of the "Traveler" sphere gives a decisive edge over conventional reference spheres. Moreover, we established contacts with international manufacturers who seek to add our products to their range of products in the near future.
The PointCab team - consisting of CEO Dr. Steffen and Christopher McAuliffe, the new head of sales and maketing - successfully introduced PointCab verison 3.5 inclduing "Geodetic Registration" app. The new approach for registration as well as the presence in the United States leave a lasting impression on customers and resellers. The participation in Spar3D 2016 is the basis for PointCab's market entry in North America.
