From March 30 to April 3, SPAR US took place in Houston. SPAR US is the leading American conference for 3D data capture with laser scanners and related equipment such as drones or photogrammetric systems.
Yet again, Laserscanning Europe's team attended this conference to trace the latest developments in the US market on site. Have a look at the newest highlights:
Leica highlights: Leica introduced the new laser scanners Leica ScanStation P30 and Leica ScanStation P40. These new developmentsallow scan ranges of up to 270 meters. Moreover, a HDR camera is integrated.
FARO highlights: FARO presented the new handheld scanner Freestyle3D to a wide audience.
NCTech highlights: The British manufacturer of a 360° panoramic camera introduced its new software and showed a prototype that shall generate point clouds exclusively based on camera pictures.
ClearEdge3D highlights: The American software manufacturer showcased the software EdgeWise 5.0.
Dotcom highlights: As of now, the optical handheld scanner is delivered together with a new computer; it allows faster scanning due to better hardware performance.
