The following video shows the quick and easy workflow how to merge point clouds created with GeoSLAM ZEB-REVO and DotProduct DPI-8X.
The mobile laser scanner ZEB-REVO was used to completely scan the ancient Watson's Mill in Manotick, Ontario. The entire capturing of the building could be realized very quickly and easily using ZEB-REVO. In addition, some minor elements in the building were captured in color using the handheld scanner DPI-8X. Afterwards, both point clouds were registered and merged to a single point cloud using CloudCompare.
