I try to open some log files in SketchUp by the SketchUp Point-Cap button. Unfortunately, they cannot be load in SketchUp because they don’t exist according to the error message.
I don’t know how to solve this problem.
the Layout PlugIn in SketchUp reads the layout file to get the spatial coordinates and file names of the tile images. There are possible issues for you problem.
1. You still have the old SketchUp plugin of version 1.0 installed. We had to change the file structure in order to extend the functionality. Please install the newest SketchUp Plugin.
2. The layoutfile as well as the image files have to be in the same folder. You can check the layout file using a text editor. Please check all image files refered in the layoutfile are available in the same folder.
3. The PlugIn is tested with SketchUp v.6 and v.7. We can not guarantee, that future versions are compatible. We appreciate any comments to incompatibilities.
Furthermore, SketchUp is able to handle small layout projects only. Please generate only layouts with few scans and import the layouts consecutively into SketchUp.
In case you have AutoCad, we recommend to use our free AutoCad-PlugIn (tested with version 2006 and higher).
