Experiences with Riegl VZ-400

As an employee of Riegl I have already gained experience with our RIEGL VZ-400. In this forum, I want to refer briefly to the most significant innovations. Due to Online Waveform Processing, we are able to realize extreme precision (few mm) even over a range of several hundred meters. The new measuring technique makes measuring rates of 125 000 measurements/sec possible. The detection of multipe targets is a further innovation that is only provided by RIEGL VZ-400. I.e. an unlimited number of targets per measuring beam can be detected. This extremely increases the degree of penetration, especially regarding the area's vegetation cover.
The VZ-400 can be operated stand-alone afield; that means you don't need a laptop or cable connections.
