LupoScan is an innovative software product for the evaluation of 3D laser scanner data from any manufacturer. The interface is clearly designed and easy to learn. LupoScan is an effective tool suitable for both beginners and experienced staff.

Orientation / referencing
Quick and easy determination of control- and tiepoints. Exact determination of targets by using correlation method. Furthermore it is possible to use adjusted spheres.

Determination of points, lines, polygons, triangles and squares in the intensity image of the laser scans or in the calculated orthophotos.
Ground plan / sections function
Determining sections using any user-defined levels (even multiple sections in predetermined intervals, such as 10 tunnel profiles in 3m intervals).
Orthophotos
Orthophotos can be calculated at any level from the intensity of the laser scan. The result is stored in its own data format which also contains the 3D information from the data. A threedimensional interactive evaluation is also possible here.

Unfolded Cylinder
Cylindrical or elliptical-cylindrical surfaces can be unfolded. Thus it is possible, for example to show round towers or tunnels true to scale in a plan.
Create adjusted planes, cylinders, spheres
High-precision adjusted planes, cylinders and spheres can easily be created with optional manual input of clearly defined points or automatic searching by specifying a start point.

Colour laser scans
All the laser scan data can also be imported with the relevant RGB values. Moreover, there is a possibility including images from calibrated cameras in the laser scans or orthophotos.

Deformation Analysis
Due to the high point density associated with the laser scanning procedure, it is possible to easily determine the deformations in a short space of time. Thus deformations can be determined with relation to a set form (level, cylinder) or deformation between scans performed at different times. The LupoScan
software offers the possibility of accurately comparing the data available in the form of orthophotos.

Digital Image rectification
To produce a scaled template for 2D CAD drawings of flat objects (such as walls) it is possible, to rectify photographs of any camera. Also the necessary control points can be determined in the laser scans.
