ptx import in FARO Scout LT

During importing ptx files, I always get the following message in FARO Scout LT:

PTX-Import
Lines per column or columns per line

Intensity map
Linear or non-linear

1. Can anyone explain this?
2. In the case of larger ptx files, I have to confirm this dialogue for each single scan file. Isn’t it possible to automate this? Several scan files in a ptx file always have the same structure. Thus, this adjustment would be useful only at the beginning of data import.
