Compatibilty of PointTools?

Hello,
a bigger customer likes to make changes to his operating system. he was asking if the following systems may be compatible to pointools:
Vie Pro 1.8 xp64 bit W7/32nit W7/64bit
Is there a need for a new installation for the same operating system and it is free???
