The optical 3D scanner Artec Spider is suited for scanning small-sized objects with complex details. Since the Artec scanner Spider captures objects in real-time and merges the single shots for obtaining a 3D model, positioning reference marks is unnecessary. The hand-held scanner Artec Spider captures up to 7.5 frames per second and allows – in combination with Artec Studio – a surface alignment in real-time.
The 3D scanner Artec Spider achieves an accuracy of up to 30 microns and a resolution of up to 100 microns. The Artec Spider captures color information at 24 bits per pixel with a resolution of 1.3 megapixels and, thus, allows the creation of realistic 3D models. The scanner is suited for quality control and computer graphics.
