Sphere 145mm - checkerboard targets A4-A3 optimal distance from laser scanner

We talk about the focus 3d X330. For each resolution 1/1 , 1/2 , 1/4 , 1/8 at what distance the 145mm balls have to be placed ? and checkerboard targets in format A4? and checkerboard targets in format A3?.

Thanks for attention
Christian

sphere distance

Hi,

attached a link for checkerboard comperission.

http://www.laserscanning-europe.com/en/news/testing-laser-scanning-check...

for spheres, one easy rule.

1/4 25 meter for 145 mm sphere, 1/5 20 meter / 1/2 should be double distance from 1/4 means 40 to 50 meter / 1/1 is next doubeling of point resulotion, but I think maybe 80 - 90 Meter.

You can also use 200 mm spheres, from our shop as example.
