Laserscanning Europe was represented at the Nubau conference ("Nutzerorientierte Bausanierung" – user-oriented construction renovation) at the Bauhaus-Universität in Weimar. Due to an invitation by the organizers, Laserscanning Europe came to the conference. Eric Bergholz, CEO of Laserscanning Europe GmbH, reported on the possibilities for the recording of buildings by laser scanning in front of participants from the areas of construction, architecture, construction renovation and city planning.

At the Intergeo 2010, the world’s largest event for geodesy and land management, Laserscanning Europe is presenting a whole new approach to its laser scanning tool Point-Cab.

Point-Cab has many new features that help you work faster and more efficiently:

Module 1: Clear Understanding Viewer

This new tool provides a dimensionally accurate layout plan generated from hundreds of scans. You have a quick overview of an entire project. The viewer allows you to immediately measure distances and surfaces. As usual, you need three simple clicks to achieve great results.

The Danish company Kvejborg and Laserscanning Europe are now partners. Having Kvejborg as its partner, Laserscanning Europe is able to offer Danish customers its whole product portfolio and its wide range of services. Kvejborg benefits from Laserscanning Europe’s practical experience and vast knowledge.

Leica HDS laser scanner exchange format PTG and PTX

From now on, users working with the laser scanner systems:

can use the latest version of Point-Cab to automatically analyze and interpret laser scanning data stored in PTG format. Formats may be output through Cyclone software.
