Laserscanning Europe at the Nubau in Weimar

Laserscanning Europe was represented at the Nubau conference ("Nutzerorientierte Bausanierung" – user-oriented construction renovation) at the Bauhaus-Universität in Weimar. Due to an invitation by the organizers, Laserscanning Europe came to the conference. Eric Bergholz, CEO of Laserscanning Europe GmbH, reported on the possibilities for the recording of buildings by laser scanning in front of participants from the areas of construction, architecture, construction renovation and city planning.

Computer-aided measurement and digital models of buildings were a main focal point at the conference. Beside the measurement of buildings with a laser scanner and other measuring methods, like hand measurement, measurement with the Disto, 2D and 3D photogrammetry or tachymetry, BIM (Building Information Modeling) was also of great interest.
