With our software PointCab, you can use laser scanning data (point clouds) on the iPad from now on. For that purpose, Laserscanning Europe works closely with the company OrthoGraph. The company offers architecture software called OrthoGraph Architect which makes drawing and surveying buildings on the iPad possible.
What role does laser scanning play in that context? That’s easy! You can survey your real estate with a laser scanner and create a floor plan, for instance, in a few minutes by using PointCab. Using the DropBox, you can import the PointCab results in OrthoGraph and digitalize them on the basis of correctly scaled plans of your real estate.
Afterwards, the results can directly be opened in SketchUp, AutoCAD (DWG format) or ArchiCAD and used for further processing.
