New version of PointCab available – faster, simpler and 64-bit support

 Finally it’s done: PointCab 1.4 is available now!

Main changes:

• 64-bit version available (with automatic detection of versions)
• easy-to-use batch functions
• simplified user interface
• significantly higher calculation speed (especially in large projects)

Customer advantages:

• easier – even easier guidance by the functions
• simpler – very easy generating of layouts, sections and views
• faster – shorter periods to the result by faster calculation of data
• raised degree of automation – insert projects one after another once and let PointCab work alone due to batch-mode processing

Background:

We have gone to town as always and continued to work at the usability of PointCab. We have taken your feedback to heart and further important steps towards simplifying work.

As in the versions before, the name of the game is, furthermore, “less is more”. Whereby it doesn’t apply to the laser scanner and CAD systems supported by PointCab since we are making a point supporting almost all imaginable systems and surroundings. So far, we didn’t find anything that isn’t supported by PointCab.
