Two weeks ago, from May 17th to May 18th the 3D Documentation Conference took place for the first time in Essen. FARO Europe invited suppliers, operators and interested parties to swap ideas on the following subjects:
- potential applications of the laser scanning technology
- information about the latest developments with respect to hardware and software
- workshops on various subjects, for instance 3D documentation in process industry (applicability in plant engineering) and automotive industry
More than 300 participants in the event were interested in the presented laser scanner FARO Focus 3D as well as the software PointCab. Eike Thiele, CEO of Laserscanning Europe, was pleased to answer all questions. He could fascinate the attendants and convince them with the software’s features.
