At INTERGEO 2013, FARO has released the new 3D laser scanner Focus3D X 330. We took the chance and carried out test scanning. We tested for you how FARO Focus 3D X 330 performs and we provide you insight into the scan results. You can download the data sets here.
You need FARO SCENE 5.1 or SCENE LT for opening the data sets.

Why is FARO Focus3D X 330 special?
The small and lightweight Focus3D X 330 scans objects in a distance of up to 330 meters and is a powerful tool even in direct sunlight. The scanner with laser class 1 is equipped with an integrated GPS receiver and can be controlled by means of a remote control. With the new Focus model, your are even more flexible: Due to the new SCENE Webshare Cloud, you can easily share your scan data after measuring, from now on.
