VDA

VDA is a CAD interface standard which primarily serves for the data exchange of cast parts and body panels. With VDA, mainly free formed surfaces (created with surface-oriented 3D software) are exchanged. The transfer of vectors, points and point sets is possible. Solids cannot be exchanged. VDA provides a description of geometric data.
