The 3D laser scanning technology is used more and more in a number of fields of application. For instance, laser scanners are used more often in architecture, plant engineering and construction, aircraft construction or for the analysis of crime scenes. But you need extensive knowledge and experience to be able to understand the new technology and to use it successfully. In our laser scanning trainings, we show beginners what they need to know to be able to cope with whole projects on their own.
Our laser scanning trainings have received an overwhelming response. The training, that regularly take place in Magdeburg and in Wernau (near Stuttgart) in Germany, are attended by various participants. These include inter alia plant designers, public facilities (for instance companies of the water industry) and developers of computer games.
Benefits of laser scanning compared with traditional measurement methods
But why is the laser scanning technology on the rise? That's simple: 3D laser scanning provides the advantage to capture an object with its surroundings completely in a minimum of time. Since laser scanning is a contact-free measurement method, you can scan a plant for instance without the need to stop the production.
Based on the scan results (point clouds), you create a complete documentation of the scan object. Subsequent remeasurements on site are not required since you can derive all needed information from the existing point cloud. Thanks to the high point density, you can assign the data to objects unambiguously. The local and global accuracy of the data is guaranteed. The scan results can serve, for instance, for creating layouts and plans, 3D models, target-actual comparisons and for the preservation of evidence. You can take maximum possibilities from your scan data.
Why should you attend a laser scanning training?
With the participation in our laser scanning training, you lay the foundation to perform measurements with a 3D laser scanner independently. In our trainings, no questions remain unanswered as confirmed by the positive feedback of the training participants at all times.
In small groups with up to 6 participants, you learn the workflow from the capture with a 3D laser scanner via the data analysis through to 3D modeling of the scan results at first hand. In the course of the training, you perform the scanning and the analysis of the created data independently. Thus, you don't work with manipulated data but with the results achieved under real conditions. Our trainer shows you directly the solutions for any problems. Moreover, you benefit from the wide practical experience of our trainer and you can take the opportunity to exchange views and knowledge comprehensively.
Our trainer shows you how to import the scan data into your customized CAD system to process the data afterwards. After having participated in the training, each training participant is able to perform laser scanning and analysis of scan data autonomously. Subsequent to the workshop, the training material enables you to realize anew what you have learned.
After having successfully participated in our laser scanning training, each participant gets a certificate of attendance. With the certificate, you meet the requirements to hire our laser scanners.
