As of now, our well-liked 2-way telescope tripod for scanning up and down is also available with a 3D safety adapter for FARO Focus S and M scanners. The new safety adapter enables the 2-way tripod to be used for reliable overhead scanning (also: manhole tripod) with the new FARO Focus S 70, S 150, S 350 and M 70 laser scanners.
The overhead 3D safety adapter can be attached easily to tripod and scanner. The scanner with adapter plate can easily be put in the complement fixed at the tripod and secured. This ensures the necessary safety of your FARO laser scanner.
With the 2-way telescope tripod with overhead adapter for FARO Focus S and M, you can easily position your Focus S or M scanner up to 4 meters above ground or up to 4.50 meters below ground level. Especially for overhead scanning, we recommend the use of the overhead adapter. Further information can be found in our online shop.
