Attach the magnet base of your reference sphere easily to the metal disc of the traffic cone and use the traffic cone for scanning indoors and outdoors. The cone provides you with many possibilities to set up reference spheres. Thus, you can position your reference spheres on unpaved surfaces, such as lawn and forest floor, without any problems. The traffic cone has another advantage: Due to its signal effect, you warn your fellow men about scanning work.
