Dear laser scanning community,
On Laser Scanning TV, we present our new video about reference objects for handheld scanners.
The reference objects are the perfect solution if you want to scan objects with less surface structure by means of a handheld 3D scanner (e. g. Artec Eva or Artec Spider). The reference objects provide additional structure and guarantee that the handheld scanner doesn't lose its bearings.
Due to the integrated magnet base, you can place the objects upright or attach them easily to metallic surfaces. After scanning, you can easily remove the reference objects from the scans.
