Dear laser scanning community,
From now on, our partner PointCab GmbH offers a target-based registration method for terrestrial laser scanning data. Thanks to thought-out operation as well as quick and easy detection and assignment of checkerboard targets and reference spheres, even non-experts get a tool that allows reliable registration of terrestrial laser scanning data.
If you work in smaller projects without targets or if a target is missing once, you can still register as easily due to natural corresponding points.
To get data as precise as possible, target-based registration is essential. Projects containing two to 1,000 scans were verified successfully; further mega-projects are in progress.
As of now, the new registration is available in our shop.
