For our software PointCab, a new help is available.
The help supports you in getting started with the laser scanning software PointCab and explains how you can use the PointCab results in compatible software solutions.

The FARO European User Meeting 2012 for laser scanning and 3D documentation is going to take place on 22nd and 23nd May 2012 in Zurich.
The event offers numerous technical lectures, workshops and the possibility for the exchange of experiences between laser scanning users. Furthermore, the latest hardware and software solutions are going to be presented.
The following fields of applications will be presented:
In Laserscanning Europe’s online shop, you will immediately find new well-priced products: the carbon tripod for the laser scanner FARO Focus3D with or withour quick release.
With the quick release, you can quickly and easily attach the Focus3D to the carbon tripod and you can disassemble it just as quickly. The easy pushing-in and clamping is ensured by a pan head at the tripod and a moving head disk at the scanner.
The quick release is also available separately and is, thus, ideally for those who already have a carbon tripod for the FARO Focus3D.
We, Laserscanning Europe GmbH, steadily expand our range of products in order to make your laser scanning projects easier.
What is new in our shop? The tripod adapter for reference spheres. The adapter is available in two sizes and, thus, suitable for reference spheres with a diameter of 145mm (5.7 in) (e. g. refernece sphere Flexi or Carbonic) or 200mm (7.9 in) (e. g. our reference sphere XXL). The adapter is a tripod adapter with claw system on which the reference sphere can be screwed.
From now on, you can use PointCab in conjunction with the new release FARO Scene 5.0.
As user of our software PointCab, you have to install the latest FARO SDK and restart your PC afterwards.
