Hi guys,
not sure if I am right here. I heard about the automatic registration from Z+F and Faro
. What is the difference between both systems?

nothing new here??? no one is using any system? any help from Laserscanning Europe?

Hi
FARO offers by faro scene version 4.8 automatic registration. Thats means that the software search automatic for target and make a automatic placement.
For that you need reference objects like checkerboard or registration spheres.
Same example for registration sphere are in our webshop.

For Z+F System you need special targets from Z&F. This target will be detect by LFM Software and also use for registration process.
The special targets are only avaible from Z&F him self. Reference spheres and checkerboard (black and white targets) are more flexible. You didnt need same special from FARO, you can also can buy other registration spheres, like in our webshop.
