Anfang Juli waren die Experten von Laserscanning Europe auf einem der wichtigsten internationalen Polizeiworkshops für Laserscanning und Photogrammetrie. Bei dem Workshop in Neuss, waren Fachleute aus den Bereichen der Forensik, der Dokumentation von Tatorten und Unfallspezialisten vor Ort. Wir waren mit unserem FARO Focus 3D X 130 HDR, der IStar-Panoramakamera und unserem Forensik-Set vor Ort und stellten unsere Produkte vor.

At the beginning of July, the experts at Laserscanning Europe attended one of the most important international police workshops for laser scanning and photogrammetry. Experts from the fields of forensic science and the documentation of crime scenes, alongside accident specialists, attended the workshop in Neuss. We were on site to present our products, including the FARO Focus 3D X 130 HDR, the iStar panorama camera, and our forensics set.

Our partner Artec3D has published a new version of their Artec Studio software. The new version makes it much easier for you to handle the software. A number of improvements, including the new autopilot, mean that even users with little practical experience are able to achieve high-quality results. You will also find the new real-time mode convincing: even during the scanning operation, you can easily see what your model will look like later.

Der neue FARO Focus X HDR Scanner bietet Ihnen die Möglichkeit Bilder in HDR-Qualität aufzunehmen. Da dieser interne Prozess jedoch einige Zeit in Anspruch nimmt, ist er für einige Projekte vor Ort nicht praktikabel. Mit der eigenständigen vollautomatisierten HDR-Kamera iSTAR von NCTech, haben Sie die Möglichkeit HDR-Aufnahmen in 11 Sekunden zu erstellen, um diese HDR-Aufnahmen später mit der Software Colour Cloud von NCTech für FARO Scene zu kolorisieren.

Option to record HDR images for the FARO Focus HDR scanner
The new FARO Focus X HDR scanner provides you with the possibility to record images in HDR quality. However, as this internal process requires a certain amount of time, it is not really practicable for some projects on site. The independent, fully automated HDR camera iSTAR from NCTech provides you with the possibility to create HDR recorded images in 11 seconds and then to colorize these HDR images later with the Colour Cloud software made by NCTech for FARO Scene.
