I want to scan in Finland. Since the project I'm working on is outdoors and we have deep minus degrees at the moment I'm not able to scan.
Do you have any experience with scanning under winter conditions and freezing temperature?
The specs of the Focus 3D have as lowest opperating temperature 5 degree C, is that right?

Hello,
The FARO scanner is specified to be used starting from 5 degree. This is also applied for the new FARO Focus3D X 330 scanner.
Laser scanners with a larger range of temperature are available. You get these scanner from Leica, Maptek, Riegl and ZF. These 3D laser scanners can also work in freezing temperatures.
