Dear laser scanning community,
For the first time, we were at CGI Congress and Fair in Hamburg last week - together with our UAV partner anviTech. The event about CGI was a new experience since CGI sector has different objectives and demands than the majority of our customers. But within this clientele, hardly any demand resembles another.
Laser scanners or handheld 3D scanners are used more and more frequently in the fields of VR (Virtual Reality) and AR (Augmented Reality) as well as for documentation of film sets and for 3D effects. We could convince some users and decision makers of 3D laser scanning technology. Among others, the handheld 3D scanner DotProduct DPI-8X and Artec Space Spider as well as GeoSLAM's mobile laser scanner ZEB-REVO and the highly accurate terrestrial laser scanner FARO Focus S 150 aroused great interest.
