Intergeo 2025 in Frankfurt was a complete success for us! Together with PointCab, we demonstrated the versatility of modern laser scanning technology and 3D data processing. With this year's booth theme of “soccer,” we were a real eye-catcher and were able to inspire numerous visitors.

Our trade fair team took the opportunity to make new contacts, advise interested parties on the latest hardware and software solutions for point cloud processing, and, of course, maintain personal contact with our existing customers. Intergeo thus remains the most important industry meeting place for everyone involved in 3D surveying, geodata, and reality capture.

Our trade fair motto had a very special background: some time ago, we implemented an exciting laser scanning project that combined various measurement methods. The goal was to transform the Avnet Arena of 1. FC Magdeburg into an impressive digital 3D model.

The result is an interactive digital stadium tour that can be found directly on the 1. FCM website. Fans can move around the stadium virtually, select their seat for the next game, and see in advance where they will have the best view of the field.

Exclusive areas such as the Terrace Business Club, the FCM Lodge, the North Business Club, and the press room are also digitally accessible. The project impressively demonstrates how laser scanning and point cloud software such as PointCab help transform real locations into detailed 3D models.
