Connect FARO Focus 3D laser scanner with IOS systems via Wi-Fi

Dear laser scanning community,

As of now, you can remote control your FARO Focus3D laser scanner using Apple devices via WLAN.

The procedure is explained in our tutorial.

Moreover, you can transfer your scans to your computer via WLAN.

For that purpose, you must permit remote access for your scanner, too. Remote access can be activated in General Settings. Afterwards, you can connect your laptop to the scanner via WLAN. Simply enter following command in Windows Explorer: \\192.168.111.2 (Please use your scanner's IP address). Now, you have access to your scanner's memory card to transfer data.
