FARO Technologies has announced exciting new additions to its range of terrestrial laser scanners. In addition to updates to the FARO Focus Core and Focus Premium models, the new FARO Focus Premium Max, the new flagship of the terrestrial laser scanner range, has been unveiled. There is one visual change for all scanners: they have been given the modern design of the previous Focus Premium with the three vertical lines on the right side of the device.
What is new?
Updates for den Focus Core
The Focus Core has been optimised and can now be used via the Stream app. It enables a range of 100 metres and the innovative flash technology is included for one year. The scanning speed reaches a maximum of 2 million points per second and the device delivers accuracy on a par with the Focus Premium. The device also comes with a full calibration certificate and a 2-year manufacturer's warranty.
Updates for Focus Premium
The Focus Premium retains the familiar quality, with the Stream app and one year of Flash technology included. With a range of 200 metres and a maximum scanning speed of 2 million points per second, the Premium is ideally equipped for precise measurements. The manufacturer's warranty is also 2 years.
The new Focus Premium Max
The new highlight is the FARO Focus Premium Max. With an impressive range of 400 metres and permanently integrated flash technology, it sets new standards. A PanoCam mount is already included and - as with the other models - the Stream app and a calibration certificate are included. It also offers the high scanning speed of 2 million points/second and a 2-year guarantee.
