Isle of Man TT 2026 in Gaussian Splatting
During the Isle of Man TT 2026, we captured several iconic locations of the legendary Mountain Course as well as race bikes from the SWAM Triumph Racing Team using the XGRIDS PortalCam. The collected data was processed in Lixel CyberColor Studio and transformed into highly detailed Gaussian Splat scenes, creating immersive and photorealistic 3D visualizations.
Featured captures include the Glen Helen section, the famous Ballaugh Bridge, a TT race bike, and a historic lighthouse with its traditional foghorn. This project demonstrates how modern reality capture technologies can digitally preserve and showcase legendary motorsport locations and vehicles in an entirely new and interactive way.
