Polaris Terrestrial Laser Scanner from Teledyne Optech
Who is the system suitable for? The Polaris long-range scanner is particularly suitable for scanning at distances of up to 2,000 meters. Who is this interesting for and what do you need such a range for in everyday life? Of course, for many everyday applications, a shorter range of 70 to 350 meters is often quite sufficient. However, there are also many areas where it makes sense to look a bit further.
The Polaris, for example, shows its advantages especially when it comes to long distances. Some areas of application can be:
- Bridges
- Towers
- Mining
- Quays
What are the rental options?
We currently offer two options of renting the Polaris:
- rental of Teledyne Optech Polaris scanner
- rental Teledyne Optech Polaris in combination with an operator
For customers who have no prior experience with the Polaris, we offer prior training or "training on the job", i.e. rental of the Polaris including operator. This way you learn how to use the scanner directly on your project. The operator will teach you all the necessary skills for the successful implementation of the Polaris into your laser scanning projects. Thus your project will be a complete success. Afterwards you will receive a corresponding proof of the training and can rent the Polaris in the future even without an operator.
