It's important to help out where you can. We participated in the rescue of 167 orphans from a children's home near Kiev in Ukraine as part of the Ukraine conflict.
Our CEO Eric Bergholz of Laserscanning Europe GmbH reports:
"My friend Jan Wätzig from the charity motorsport project Nascar-hilft.de had organized the onward transport of the 167 orphans and carers from a children's home near Kiev from Dresden to Freiburg at short notice on Saturday. The necessary buses were provided by Valentin Reisen from Chemnitz. We assured Jan Wätzig directly on Saturday a financial support for the costs of the transport.
As could be gathered from the media, in the meantime all children have arrived in Freiburg after more than 50 hours of travelling. Many thanks to Jan and Valentin Reisen and all the others involved in this action for this uncomplicated effort in these difficult times."
