What's new with the Veesus SolidWorks plug-in
The Veesus plug-in for SolidWorks is now available free of charge and accessible to all users. It allows point clouds to be imported directly into SolidWorks so that large 3D scan data can be seamlessly integrated into CAD models – without any additional software or conversions.
Customized functions in Arena4D
Some features have been removed from the SolidWorks plug-in, such as editing point clouds and exporting to other formats. However, these advanced features are still available in the Arena4D software. With your Veesus subscription, you can still access everything you need.
Even if you need to use both Solidworks and Arena4D for some tasks in the future, this change will ensure that you always use the best tools for every part of your project.
