Laserscanning and Tiger Woods
Paragraphs
Wysiwyg text
The ultra-modern laser scanning technology was applied for the latest version of the computer game Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 by Electronic Arts (EA).
In order to gain as much feeling of reality as possible in the computer game, the golf course and the position of the single holes were registered accurately by a laser scanner – in cooperation with the Augusta National Golf Club. Afterwards, the data of the scanned golf course was digitalised and now serve as a precise, geometric, digital basis for the players of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12.
You will find further information about the golf simulation Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 on the website of the manufacturer.
