Brownfield Projects

Brownfield Projects target an increased plant productivity by optimizing workflow organization having regard to already existing local conditions. Brownfield planning (or "close to production planning") implies digital capture of existing production plants including structures, plant components and piping that is often not available in terms of digital plans. In order to avoid planning errors, a laser scanner is used to digitally capture the plant with all its details and to visualize it as a point cloud. Then, the point cloud is a basis for creating 2D plans and 3D models which allow economic and accurate planning.
