FARO Focus3D X 130

The FARO Focus3D X 130 (actually FARO Focus3D X 130) is a 3D laser scanner manufactured by the company FARO. The phase-based laser scanner achieves a high measuring speed of maximal 976.000 measuring points per second in theory. The resolution and quality of the scans can be adjusted individually and according to the needs. The FARO Focus3D X 130 captures objects in a range from 0.6 m (23.6 in) to 130 m (5,118.1 in); thus, it is perfectly suited for application in architecture, BIM, process industry, heritage, forensics and others. The laser scanner can be controlled by a touchscreen or WLAN. It is equipped with an internal 70 megapixel color camera. The captured point clouds and images are saved on the inserted SD memory card and thus can be easily transferred to a PC. Like other models of the X series, FARO Focus3D X 130 is characterized by laser class 1 and noise reduction. Due to the integrated GPS receiver, single scans can be correlated easily in post-processing. The power supply is effected by means of an internal battery (duration of approx. 4.5 hours) or an external power source.
