The Leica RTC360 is a high-speed 3D laser scanner from Leica Geosystems. The Time of Flight (TOF) laser scanner with HDR image processing enables a measurement speed of up to 2 million points/second and the generation of colored point clouds in less than 2 minutes. With a range of 0.5 to 130m and a field of view of 360° (horizontal) x 300° (vertical), the RTC360 is ideal for a wide range of applications. The video-enhanced inertial measurement system tracks the single scanner positions in real time, enabling automated field registration without targets.
The Leica RTC360 is laser class 1 and is protected against dust and splash water in compliance with IP54. The permitted operating temperature is -5 to +40 °C. Two powerful lithium-ion batteries allow the scanner to run for up to 4 hours. The RTC360 is controlled via the touch screen or via WLAN using a tablet PC (iPad or Android tablet).
