RIEGL VZ-400

RIEGL VZ-400 is a 3D laser scanner from the company RIEGL Laser Measurement Systems GmbH. The scanner measures objects in a range of max. 600m (23622 in). It achieves a measuring speed of max. 122.000 points/second and allows a field of view of 100° (vertical) x 360° (horizontal). Data capturing by the RIEGL VZ-400 can be controlled by means of a PC or laptop or without. The operation is made via LAN, WLAN or directly at the laser scanner. During stand-alone operation, the captured point clouds are saved to the internal hard disk. There is a USB port available for external devices. Furthermore, an external digital camera can be attached to the scanner in order to create color photos. The RIEGL VZ-400 can be operated by means of an external power supply or the optional NiMH batteries.
