The Trimble X7 Scanner is a 3D laser scanner manufactured by the company Trimble Navigation Limited. The time-of-flight scanner allows scanning in a range of 0.6m (23.62 in) to 80m (3,149.61 in) at a scanning speed of up to 500kHz. It has the laser class 1 and is protected against dust and water jet thanks to ingress protection rating IP55. The Trimble X7 can be used at temperatures from - 20 °C to + 50 °C.
The high-precision scanner has a new deflection system for fully automatic calibration of the range and angular system, thus ensuring accuracy for every scan. It is operated (via WLAN or cable connection) using Trimble Field Link software on the Trimble T10 tablet. The software supports automatic referencing, registration and refinement of scan and BIM data directly on site.
The X7 enables new workflows, as the integrated laser pointer allows you to determine results directly on the construction site.
