With LCC Scan from XGRIDS, people, objects, and environments can be captured directly with an iPhone and reconstructed as a three-dimensional scene.
This means that LCC Scan is no longer intended solely as a companion app for the XGRIDS PortalCam. The iPhone itself can be used for 3D capture without the need for additional scanning hardware.

XGRIDS uses 3D Gaussian Splatting, or 3DGS for short. This technology enables a realistic representation of surfaces, colors, and spatial details.
