The RODEON Scan manufactured by the company Dr. Clauss Bild- und Datentechnik GmbH combines precise laser scanning and high-resolution panoramic camera recordings in one surveying instrument. The 3D laser scanner allows the capture of objects in a distance of up to 250m (9,842.5 in) and the capture of textures at the same time. The RODEON Scan links the scan results (point clouds) with the camera recordings and transfers the panorama to a mesh model. The 3D data can be exported to the formats VRML, DXF, PTS and PLY. The scanner can be operated by means of a laptop. The battery allows a duration of approx. 3 hours.
