Error code 203 in PointCab

Hello

I have tested the new PointCab version. During the import, I always receive the error code 203. Permissions are missing. What is the reason?

Import of a workspace

Hello,

The error code 203 occurs when the scan project could not be imported properly. There are many reasons for that error.

When you use FARO data, you should have installed the latest FARO SDK. Please make sure that all scan files of the project are available. Open your project in Scene (FARO)/Lasercontrol (Z+F)/etc. and open all scan files in order to check them. Furthermore, make sure that your Windows user account is allowed to access the data.

Maybe, the access to the information is not possible. In that case, please copy the files once onto your local hard disk.

If you use RIEGL data, make sure that only ASCII characters exist in the scan project's file path.

Hi HDS,

If you use data from Focus3D, please try the following:
Open the FARO workspace (*.fws) or the FARO project file (*.lsproj) in FARO Scene. If no error occurs during the opening, it should work in PointCab without any problem.
