Leica Geosystems announces the HDS6200 as the successor of the efficient HDS6100. As specified by the manufacturer, the new features boost the versatility and productivity any longer. According to the manufacturer, features compared to the previous model are:
- Increase of 37% of the temperature range (now from -10 °C to +45 °C
- Increase of 67% of the period of application of the internal replaceable accumulator (now 2 ½ hours)
- The integrated wireless LAN (WLAN) for the control of the scanner is new Low noise at long ranges of 25m and 50m maximum
- Scan rate >1 million points/sec
