A few weeks ago, the manufacturere FARO introduced its new 3D laser scanner Focus3D X 330, the succeeding model of the Focus3D S 120.
With FARO Focus3D X 330, you can scan objects that are up to 330m away. With the phase-based scanner, you capture up to 976 000 points per second. Colored scans can be made due to the built-in camera. In contrast to FARO Focus3D S 120, Focus3D X 330 is characterized by laser class 1 and a built-in GPS receiver. With FARO Focus3D X 330, you get perfect scanning results - even at direct sunlight.
